Lots Of Recreation

Hampstead has numerous recreational facilities. Baseball parks are heavily used during the season by all ages, from Little Leaguers to adult softball teams. A very large facility, Hampstead Kiwanis Park, continues to develop due primarily to the efforts of dedicated volunteers. Fishing and boating are extremely popular and a new public marina for the area will be built.

Excellent Golf Courses

Hampstead has always had lots of golf courses featuring both links-style and heavily wooded properties. Castle Bay Country Club, on the north side of Highway 17, is a Scottish-links course that features lots of protected wetlands, beautiful natural plants, and very few trees.
