This 1,300-acre, five-mile island retreat features only private homes – currently 460, and each one is different. You won’t find cookie-cutter developments. And the homes are gorgeous, most with spectacular ocean, sound or marsh views. From luxurious, exquisite five and six bedroom homes to more modest three and four bedroom bungalows, all have their own personalities.

Figure Eight Island features a yacht club with marina, tennis courts, boat ramp and miles of white sand beaches. Although cars are permitted, traffic is not a factor here primarily due to the absence of commercial centers, hotels, condos, and shopping. Yet you’re only minutes from the mainland where you’ll find all the services, stores and amenities you need, not to mention a host of excellent restaurants, golf courses and attractions.
