Holiday CelebrationsOld Wilmington by Candlelight has been a holiday pleasure since 1973. The first weekend in December, visitors may tour some of the Historic District’s most beautiful homes, churches and businesses. Old-style holiday decorations, candles and tasty treats greet guests at each stop on the self-guided tour route. On the eve of the tour, carolers stroll through historic Old Wilmington. Funds raised from ticket sales are used for restoration of the Zebulon Latimer House museum complex and other projects of the Lower Cape Fear Historical Society. |
