Wilmington Airport Grows

One of the things that has helped entice visitors to Wilmington is the expansion of Wilmington Airport, known as ILM.

The hospitality we extend to visitors begins at the airport, where volunteers are on hand to greet and help those who are arriving from other cities.

There are non-stop flights to and from six major cities so that those traveling to or from New York City’s Laguardia, Philadelphia, Charlotte, Washington DC, Orlando/Sanford or Atlanta can do so easily.

US Air has a host of connecting flights through Charlotte and Delta has a lot of connecting flights through Atlanta so that getting to other cities from these hubs is relatively painless too.

International travelers use the Wilmington Airport too, as the facility has earned a reputation as an efficient place to clear customs. No long lines and endless waits are present at ILM.
