100+ Species of Snakes

Located on Orange Street in Downtown Wilmington is the Cape Fear Serpentarium. On display are an amazing collection of more that 100 species of snakes, including the rare and deadly Bushmaster and Black Mamba snakes.

Also exhibited are a 250-pound 23 foot-long python, a 15 foot-long king cobra, Nile crocodiles, and many more in this 10,000 square foot living museum. The Serpentarium even has a dragon-sized monitor lizard named Komodo.
