Explore The Cape Fear River

NE Cape Fear Exploration offers another view of the waterfront. The NE Cape Fear River is still largely unpopulated and looks much as it did when Wilmington was originally colonized.

Cruising on the Lorelei, a 36-foot Willard Vega, photographers, artists, and nature buffs will travel from the busy waterfront downtown to the scenic, cypress-lined banks of the unspoiled river that is replete with an amazing variety of wildlife.

The Lorelei holds up to six passengers and the charter operates year-round from its berth at the City of Wilmington dock on Water Street downtown near Red Cross.
