tours Springbrook Farms Tour the downtown waterfront and Historic District at a leisurely pace, with narration by costumed drivers. Tours are in a one-horse carriage, or a two-horse replica of the horse-drawn streetcars that once served as Wilmington's public transit system. Special themed tours are offered at various times of year, including Halloween rides and Christmas caroling rides. Times: 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Tues-Sat, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sun, April-October. Limited schedules November-March. $9 adults, $4 children under 12. Board carriages on Market Street between Water and Front streets. 251-8889. |
